What is a PowerClub™?

Simply put, a PowerClub™ is a children’s ministry where there is an emphasis on teaching children the meat of God’s Word, equipping them for the believer’s ministry, and creating regular opportunities for children to encounter the presence of God. (See our three Core Values.) PowerClubs™ are  designed to accommodate the doctrinal beliefs of Spirit-filled (Charismatic or Pentecostal) churches. In PowerClubs™ children are taught to hear God’s voice, be led by His Spirit, heal the sick, and walk in the supernatural power of God.

PowerClubs™ are very evangelistic in nature in the nations where children may have no other exposure to the gospel than this. In many places it becomes their church for lack of another. Thus in many situations when a PowerClub™ is launched it is like planting a church of children.

They are started and conducted by churches or individuals (ordinary moms and dads, children’s ministers, and other adults who love kids) who desire to see children evangelized, filled with the Holy Spirit, grounded in the word of God, operating in the gifts of the Spirit, learning to hear God’s voice and be led by His Spirit, and becoming active, functioning members in the body of Christ while they are still children.

Though some are a part of local churches, most PowerClubs™ are held in backyards, neutral locations, schools, slums, ghettos, and homes.
