How It All Began
Missions has always been the heartbeat of Becky Fischer and Kids in Ministry International.
The story of How it all Began:
It was a mission trip to Tanzania in 2001, while still on staff at MorningStar Ministries, that caused Becky to decide to begin her own independent ministry outside of a local church. But our international impact and involvement went to a new level in 2006 when co-worker and Becky’s-mission-traveling-companion, Pamela Ayres , returned from Kenya burning with the vision to train leaders to start PowerClubs all over the world. Since then Pamela has run tirelessly through twenty three nations holding week long training events to teach church leaders to equip children for the work of the ministry and bring them into the presence of God.
Giving credit where credit is due.
If it were not for Pamela, we would have very little to show you in this section on KIMI in the Nations. But through her personally going, sacrificing, training, preparing, planning, praying, and mentoring many of the people represented here, we can confidently say KIMI is making an impact around the world. Armed with the KIMI vision, curriculums, ministry pattern, and tools, Pamela and the leaders below are now ministering to over 23,000 children who regularly attend 457 KIMI PowerClubs every week in 18 nations. Each leader and each nation has a unique story.
