Lesson Summary
What is the resurrection—and why does it matter so much? In this powerful Bible lesson for kids, we explain that resurrection means coming back to life after death, and that Jesus’ resurrection is the most important event in all of history. Kids will learn that Jesus didn’t just die for our sins—He rose again to prove He truly is the Son of God. The episode explores how the resurrection is the proof that our sins are forgiven and that God’s plan of salvation is complete.
Children will understand that believing Jesus rose from the dead is essential to being saved, as taught in Romans 10:9. We explain how the resurrection defeated sin, death, hell, and Satan once and for all. Children will also discover that only eyewitnesses of the risen Jesus wrote the New Testament, giving us confidence in its truth.
They’ll learn how the same power that raised Jesus from the dead now lives in believers. This helps kids understand why Jesus is alive today—and why that changes everything.
