Parents are role models for their children. If Jesus is made the head of the family, then we are 100% guaranteed that our children will not fall victims to the kingdom of darkness. If we stop training our children in God’s ways, it means we have given up our children to the dark world. Just as we parents care, protect and nurture our children from dark forces; Its the same relationship that God has with His every created human. He was/is/will be the parent of all of us. God as our creator simply wanted all of us to be loved and obeyed by His creation. Just like how we as a parent, want our children to love us and obey us. When we allow our children to break off this relationship, protection and covering it simply means we have given our children to the darkness ruled by Satan. As parents our number one priority is to care, protect and cover our children in God’s ways, His word and His ways, lest they get engulfed by the dark world.
